The Charles Koenig brand was created in the mid-1980s, in memory of the First World War and the soldiers who fought valiantly, such as Charles Koenig at Verdun. Deeply rooted in their terroir in the heart of the Montagne of Reims, the Champagne Charles Koenig let the power of the Pinots Noirs and the fruit of the Meuniers express themselves with a touch of finesse, characteristic of Chardonnay. The supply is made on about thirty wines, distributed throughout the Champagne appellation, thus allowing an aromatic richness and fresh and balanced blends. We control the entire production chain, from receipt of musts to the marketing of bottles, after cellar aging (lees) of about 18 to 48 months.
